If you want to reuse customized elements, you can create an element template. All subelements and properties of the element from which you create the template are transferred to newly created elements. Once an element template is created, restricted users can add only those elements and not the default elements. The elements can be configured in such a way that, for example, only the content but not the layout can be customized.

Create element templates

To create an element template, you edit an existing element or you create a new element. You can then customize this element to match what you want to save as a template. In particular, you can release only the properties that a restricted user should be able to edit later in the newly created element. For this, also read the chapter User rights. After that, go to the section "Label, user rights, play log" in the properties dialog and give the element a name under title and optionally a description. Afterwards you have to press the button "Use this element as a template for new elements".
