With the help of the weather display you can display the current weather forecast of the day depending on the location. In addition, a preview of the next 4 days can be activated with the help of an interactive pop-up.

Basic settings

The location for which the weather is to be displayed can be determined in three ways:

1. City: As soon as something is entered in this text field, the list of all available cities is filtered and matching entries are displayed below the text field. The correct city can then be selected from these entries.
2. Coordinates: The position of the weather forecast is determined by the given longitude and latitude (e.g. 48.135125, 11.581981).
3. Determine location based on the defined address of the client: The position that has been stored as the location for the client in SiteKiosk Online will be used.

The displayed location name is the option to specify a different name (e.g. company location) in the weather view. With the option Displayed location name is determined from defined address this field is deactivated.

Weather display

It is possible to switch between the weather display for today (three values: morning, noon, evening) and the display for today and tomorrow (two values).

Temperature unit

Determines the unit in which the temperatures are displayed. You can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Text style

The Text style sets the font and the font styles bold (B) and italic (I) for all texts within the weather element. The headings above the weather entries are always written in bold. The position of the provider hint can be set in the horizontal direction.

Date

This option determines whether a date should be displayed next to the location name. The other configuration options are identical to the settings of the time/date element.

Colors

The primary color is used for all fonts and icons and the background of the button to open the prediction dialog. The secondary color is used as the font color on the button and as the title font color for the pop-up.

Pop-up

The button next to the title Pop-up activates the forecast pop-up. The pop-up displays the weather forecast for the set number of days.

Forecast dialog buttons

The button can be displayed as text or as a fixed icon.

The text can be determined via the free text field.

Background

The background of the pop-up can be configured with the same options as the background of each element.
