User interface
Zoom level user interface
The user interface zoom level determines the scaling of all dialogs and toolbars generated by SiteKiosk Online in this project. This allows buttons to be scaled to operable sizes on systems with high pixel density (High DPI).
Taskbar
The taskbar allows the user to easily switch between open programs on the client.
User-defined buttons can be added to the taskbar.
You can choose from a range of predefined actions such as SiteKiosk and machine commands (restart, shutdown...) or specific commands such as browser calls and scripts.
Startmenu
Here you can add user-defined buttons which are displayed on the client in the form of a start menu.
You can choose from a range of predefined actions such as SiteKiosk and machine commands (restart, shutdown...) or specific commands such as browser calls and scripts.
Virtual keyboard
If no keyboard is available on the clients, a virtual keyboard can be activated to enter texts via touch or mouse inputs.
Keyboard layout
The keyboard layout can be switched automatically with this setting after a language change occurs on the client.
Language Layouts in Windows
The SiteKiosk Online Client for Windows uses only the keyboard languages installed in Windows. To use a specific keyboard language or to ensure reliable switching between languages and the corresponding keyboard layouts, the desired keyboard languages must first be installed in Windows.
Please note that Windows language and keyboard layout settings are user-specific and may vary between different Windows user accounts. Therefore, if necessary, check the corresponding settings for the Windows user account under which you are running SiteKiosk.
