Logfiles
Logfiles
Information and filtering options for the logs of the client.
With the help of the set log level, only entries are displayed whose log level corresponds to the selected level or a higher level.
The day whose log entries are to be viewed is selected in the calendar selection. Days on which no entry was generated are grayed out and cannot be selected.
The option "Export..." lets you switch to the view to create new export files and manage created export files.
The option "Delete..." can be used to delete all log entries that were generated before the selected month.

- Light red: Errors
- Dark red: Fatal Errors
- Red with grey marking: System wide errors from the operating system event log
Export
To generate new exports, select the desired machines from the machine list and the period in the calendar. The defined periods: "Today, Yesterday, Current week, Last week, Current month, Last month, Current year" can alternatively be selected from the dropdown. If you select a user-defined period, the dropdown will be set to "User-defined". If you want to have the log files exported in a separate file for each selected day select the checkbox "Log files for each day separately". Once you have made the settings, you can trigger the creation of the export via "Create new". This process may take a few minutes. The page refreshes itself at regular intervals.
Created export files
This list contains files that have already been exported. The respective log can be downloaded again via the link on the file name.
The export consists of one or more .log text files with log entries in a .zip archive.
Exporting starts a three-step process to generate a log export.
